About

In 2006, NBC Digital Studios launched a first-person online travel show called Junior Year Abroad.

Featuring a video podcast, blogging, interviews and a then-innovative level of conversation between the cast and audience, I was one of the inaugural members.

Though the show wasn’t picked up to continue, my work with NBC paid for my studying in Tokyo, encouraged me to better document my time and helped start my interest in compelling content and distribution. All content here is technically the property of NBC Universal Digital Studios, but because there is only a partial archive of this project found here, another former cast member shared his work, so I felt it prudent to do the same.

I give full credit and respect to this pilot project from NBC and its executive producer Ryan Noggle. Enjoy my work on this site.

Today, I am a co-founder of publishing consultancy Technically Media and technology news site Technically Philly. I live in the Fishtown neighborhood of Philadelphia. Find out more on my professional site here, or follow me on Twitter here.
